Patience Steltzer,  200hr RYT

I first came to know yoga through Rodney Yee's and Patricia Walden's A.M. and P.M. Yoga VHS box set.  Throughout my childhood, and teenage years I practiced these tapes, and periodically attended classes with my mother.

I enjoyed the practice, but it wasn't until I was older that I developed a deeper understanding, and appreciation for yoga.  I discovered that on the mat I was much more than the person I always wanted to be, I was the person I was destined to be.  I felt physically strong, emotionally sound, mentally clear.  I felt inspired, whole, and vibrant.

With time and practice all those feelings carried with me even after I stepped off the mat.  I knew I couldn't keep it all to myself I had to teach.   Since completing my 200hr teacher training at Namah Shivaya I have dedicated myself to sharing all that I have gained from yoga with others.
It is my personal mission to empower students to develop every aspect of themselves: physically, emotionally, and mentally through the art and science of yoga.
We all deserve wellness, and we are all capable of achieving it.  I truly believe through asana(yoga postures), meditation, and pranayama(breathing techniques) anyone can become the person they are destined to be no matter their age or ability.
